Where are is the HT clock multiplier on A8N32-SLI Deluxe

v_thumb.php

It's the K8 to NB Frequency you want. K8 being the CPU family codename and NB being Northbridge. i.e. Hypertransport

Some of the options on this MB are named very strangely.

I was expecting to find multipliers from 1x to 5x and an auto. Instead it went up to 8x. Is 8x now 1000MHz or is it maybe 1600MHz? When set to auto which does it use?

yup, 5x is normal, as 200hmz * 5 is 1000hmz. The A8N32 does allow you to run at a slightly higher HT than a lot of other boards, perhaps to 1200mhz. I saw some website somewhere that did some testing with different HT speeds and it's didn't seem to have too much of an impact at all. I run mine at 780mhz at the moment out of sheer lazyness.
