Where are the games?

OK thx for the heads up. Anyway I allready finished it, it was a good game, but I am not interested in playing it again. So I will respectfully pass on this one.

PS ; if you haven't played it then I guess this is a good time since nothing much out there at the moment.
 
seems to me pc adventure games are having something of a mini-revival.

*also waiting in the queue for the enhanced edition of The Witcher
 
Last I heard Witcher Enhanced is out around Aug-Sep. It got delayed coz they are still working on new voice-overs, new animations etc. It should make what was a very good game even better. Most criticism of the original was loading times and bad/shortened English translation....all of which will be fixed in Enhanced version too.

Ack, I've just started Chapter 2, and decided to busy myself with Thrillville: Off The Rails until the Enhanced came out, but I've almost finished it and still have months to go :(

Tomb Raider : Underworld
Alan Wake?


AAA games I have not yet played:

Cod4
Crysis (awaiting upgrade)

Yeah and personally I'd view C&C3 as a AAA title as well bearing in mind the history of the franchise.
I just don't buy this idea that big titles are no longer coming to PC, I think it is more a case of people (especially longterm PC enthusiasts such as ourselves) starting to take notice of modern consoles. Go back a few years and there was nothing really on console to attract me to consoles apart from beat 'em ups and exclusive racers like Gran Turismo and MSR/PGR.

Tbh does feel like PC gamings dead frankly, I mean its June almost thats half way thru the year and sod all :)

Not really; June isn't halfway through the year (the midpoint falls in July) and we're nearer to April (only a third of the way through) than June in any case :)
As previously mentioned, you can't really judge a year of games until December in any case due to all the games coming out around 'holiday season' (Thanksgiving).

Yeah I know just feels boring of late, but that list printed above of games due this year like Red alert 3 and Starcraft 2.... if they can appear 08 then fun times indeed:)
 
you all forgot about X3:TC (the only game im really looking forward to this year) another great game due September.

we are just in a quiet patch atm.
 
Never head of Left 4 Dead until today, just wiki it and wow, it does sound like a brilliant game if Valve makes it right. Just pondering which to have, the 360 or PC version (For Live or PC flexibility via Steam...)

On another note;
I'm looking forward to Spore (especially so now since EA dropped their stupid idea of 10days check!), STALKER: Clear Sky and Red Alert 3, perhaps Starcraft 2 (only because I want to know what's the hype, not got the chance to try SC1)
 
There is nothing, i have just went back to Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, only type of game that i can get addicted to really. That and supreme commander.
