where are the gears of war saved games kept?

I made a local windows live account on my xp partition, playing gears of war, got pretty far.

want to move the saved games into my vista partition to carry on playing where i left off in dx10!

anyone know how i can do this?

i dont have gow yet but a lot of save games are saved there these days.

I think save games are kept on the microsoft server,you should be able to move the game and carry on from where you left off as long as you use the same account.

I'm not 100% sure on this,but I'm currently playing through the single player game using a live account and no checkpoints are present in the checkpoint folder,game is saving o.k,so can only assume checkpoints are held on the MS server.

would it be in my doc`s my games maybe ? have game saves and what not there other wise no idea

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Gears of War\WarGame\Checkpoints

Is the default path for checkpoint saves, the Checkpoints folder in My Games remains empty on my system.
