Where are the songs ive purchased? (Itunes)

Well i bought some songs form Itunes but then formatted my computer a few weeks later, now ive got a new ipod and wince logging into my account to re download them i cant find them anymore. Can someone point me in the corrrect place to where i can download them? And where do songs go once i have convertd them to MP3?

You can't. You need to log a grovelling support call asking for them to reset your purchases so you can download them again. I believe that they'll only do this once. It's your responsibility to take backups (I know this seems to suck) of your purchases.
