Are there many on the market that you can buy without the need to buy a mouse at the same time?

I want a cordless desktop and while I cant decide between the MX5000 desktop or the MS Optical Elite BT I thought I'd look at getting them seperately. The mouse is not bother(MX Revolution) but can anyone recommend a keyboard?

Definately a lack of them around. I had to settle for a wired one after using wireless for years.

When I bought my MX Revolution, i had to buy the Logitech Multimedia Elite keyboard to go with it - as you say, there's a distinct lack of standalone wireless keyboards.

That said, the Elite is by no means bad.

I have the elite already and while its a decent keyboard I detest the Command(F-Key) buttons! When I work from home those keys are used quite often and are very significant so I need a new keyboard with "normal" F-keys

My son bought me a wireless keyboard and mouse for Christmas from **** (oops, forgot about being a competitor even if they are a greengrocer) :)
No idea of the quality as I haven't opened it and or decided whether to keep it or not.
Could someone tell me...how often do you think you'd have to change the batteries? I've never used wireless before.
