Where are they??

Been playing oblivion for an age now, visited many many places, but havent found an oblivion gate. Where are they??

You need to start the main quest and save Kvatch before they start appearing.

Well its part of the main storyline/Quest so I guess follow that...

press TAB and then move to the quest menu... there should be one on there thats the main quest (involving the Kings Amulet at the start)... should tell you what to do
