You could ask someone with a dead PSU to strip the connector off, or you could buy a dead one and do that. Why do you need 6+2 and not just 6 or 8 anyway?
Basically braiding my psu and found the the connectors are extremely difficult to get the pins in and out of. (have tried pins, staples, paper clips and a atx removal tool which i broke) and once I did get a couple out I couldn't get them back in.
So I decided to re crimp with new pins and connector blocks, also this way I can get rid of any excess cable for a tidy case, front side and back
I was only after a 6+2 for future use really at the moment I'm only using the 6 pins.
Just thought I'd ask around for a 6+2 if not then I was going to just use a 6 and coil up the 2 and hide it for later use if required.
