I have just bought a piece of equipment for my car DSP, however its missing the cable. The connector is the same as the header type connector on a mother board. There are seven pins. So maybe a 5 pin one and a two pin may do the job.

Any idea where I can buy the plugs or maybe leads with the plugs on, see below for the typeI am looking for:

They are Harwin M20 connectors...

But they are just 2.54mm pitch connectors so Molex C-Grid III will work as will 6471 series, as will many other 2.54mm pitch systems if you want to remove some of the plastic from the connectors.

Well I bought some but they a too big

Well if they are the mating half connectors and not just headers then only the correct ones will fit properly. The Harwin M20s are quite low profile.

The 6471 esque one you've pictured are quite high compared with the Harwin.

CPC do the connectors. http://cpc.farnell.com/webapp/wcs/s...tegoryId=700000007372&langId=69&storeId=10180

they also do the 20-24AWG terminals (that's 0.22 to 0.5mm sq cable) http://cpc.farnell.com/harwin/m20-1...dp/CN01066?ost=harwin&categoryId=700000007186

Large quantities though. Maybe have a look on ebay for Harwin M20.

Also it's a shame I don't have any of these connectors otherwise I'd post some out to you. Didn't think I'd ever need M20s when I was collecting connectors in my old job before I left.
