Where can I find an android phone running Kitkat?

I'm trying to either buy a phone that has Kitkat or find a phone which I can downgrade to Kitkat.

My car has Mirrorlink but it seems later versions of Android broke the linking ability.

I have a HTC M8 but it's on 6 so won't play ball. I'd rather not try to downgrade the HTC and end up bricking it.

go to XDA forusm and check the threads with Kitikat update (probably years back now) than just put official room and should work?

I've been looking for an S4 with the intention of downgrading it.

My GF has a Sony Experia which is on 4.4 but that didn't work.

The mirrorlink system is complete bobbins. How they managed to convince car manufacturers to use it is beyond me.

My 2013 moto x is running kitkat. It is very easy to downgrade safely using fastboot if the owner has upgraded to LP. The Moto x was made for KitKat (the LP update from Moto was botched) but the battery life ain't too great; I can just eek a day out of it.

I think the Moto X was a wonderful phone. I've just got a p9 lite and will be sad to see it go.

Are you sure it's the later versions of Android that broke it, and not HTC doing something with their Sense UI?
