Where can I get a simple logo designed..

As I have very little imagination for anything artistic and absolutely nothing in terms of ability I'm trying to find someone or somewhere where I can get a rather simple logo created.

I've used Logovend many moons ago but he seems to have put his prices up in the years since so does anyone know someone offering a similar service bit at a lower cost?
 
Logovend seem fairly cheap...

LogoVend's prices seem pretty seriously competitive to me!

Do you want to give the board a more detailed brief?

Perhaps you'll be able to get a good sketch or idea from someone for free.

Just make sure the mods dont see your post as pimping your business, wont be happy :(

Someone might do one for free on here if you give them ideas though

Who mentioned anything about a business? What do they say about not jumping to conclusions?

It's for a personal/non profit website and as a result I don't want to spend a lot of money on a ultra professional logo. I can't even draw a straight line let alone design something hence I was asking for pointers to somewhere that could come up with something on the cheap.

At no point have I asked people on here to design something and at no point have I mentioned/promoted what it's for.

Perhaps you'll be able to get a good sketch or idea from someone for free, and then with the 'design' aspect out of the way it'd be fairly cheap (~£50) to get it knocked up as a finished hi-res logo...

Cheers for the reply. To be honest it sounds like you've got your hands full and I wouldn't want to trouble you for such a silly little thing.

Sorry - that wasn't meant to sound like me pimping for business :p

My reference to the company was simply my way of validating the claim that LogoVend's prices looked a lot more than reasonable.

The brief for 'us' was meant as 'give the board a brief'.

You got any ideas to what you want then ?
Colour's, font's, size?

Might help if you know any companies, that obviously aren't competitors, that have logos you like? Don't mind helping myself if you have a vague idea of what you are after :)
