¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I got a new synth/drum machine recently, and in order to learn the ropes on it a little, I'd like to have a go at remaking a few tunes from computer games. I was thinking about the music from f-zero or streets of rage...

Anyone know of any way of getting hold of the notation as I'm not too good at playing stuff by ear...

Totally misread op. Thought you wanted guitar tabs. :o
Guitar tabs are better than nothing, I can often work out the notes from them even tho I can't play guitar. :)
Cheers, I forgot about midi files, in fact if I can figure it out I may even be able to transfer the notes over midi to the synth!
Try working it out by ear? Looking for notation's the easy way out - transcription is a skill you can learn, and the more you do, the better you get!
I agree it is a good skill to have, it does seem a little silly if someone else had already done it! ;) I've tried it before, and I often find the melody pretty easy to figure out, but the other parts like chords are much much harder.

This is the site I use. Check it out.
Awesome site, I love the way you can hear the some from the browser as well as view the notation. Perfect, thanks.
