Where can i get one of these!?

Car? I thought he was playing a Bike game and was wheeling?

Why the **** would you have upwards pitch like that on a car game?

Might be cool for afterburner, but for car games that would be pap.

That's awesome, I've seen similar but that one looks like it could be easily accomodated in a normal sized house.

It's to simulate the acceleration, ever seen a rollercoaster simulator?
The exaggerated affect of the cockpit leaning back generates a feeling of thrust, despite the fact your not moving anywhere.

Yes I've seen a rollercoaster sim but a rollercoaster gets those angles of pitch, it's a cool piece of home kit but I doubt that would feel that great.

Depends what you're racing I guess, F1 for example will get more G in corners and acceleration than a rollercoaster.

well if its trying to simulate a car then its really stupid.

a rollercoaster maybe, not a car... when do you ever move about like that in a real car?

Plus do you really think it looks fun? i don't. The guy who was on it looked really uncomfortable, and if you actually watch the video its not in tune with what he's doing, it just seems to be moving about at random, which is just a total distraction.

Sorry to be the spoil sport but I wouldn't buy one if I had the money :p

What you don't seem to get is that the screen is large and always in front meaning that you don't move your head.

The reason it pitches upwards so far is that it moves the center of mavity giving the effect that you are rapidly accelerating, the drop followed by the pitch upwards again is the gear change likewise the opposite for breaking. And it is a F1 car

It even seems to give the effect of drops and raises in the surface of the road. I would love to try one out.

The idea is it simulates the forces experienced by the driver, not the movements of the car.
