I want my case to be a bit more unquie. its a 600T white.

i was thinking of having this image (below) sprayed on to it all in black like silhouette. however i rather it done by proffesionals. what should i be searching for & any ideas how much it would cost also i was thinking of having Smogsy on the otherside.

There's a few routes you could take, airbrushing would look the highest quality but it's also expensive.

If you're willing to make the silhouette yourself in photoshop and get it printed I am sure most car body paint shops will be happy to do it with a proper spray gun for not that much money.

By the way, what's the finish like on the 600T? If it's laquered you'll have to sand it down first, if not you will probably want too lacquer the entire external of the case as it will give a much tougher finish and will be abetter match once painted on.
 
very good idea, but wouldnt paint be much better effect?, playing devils advocate here. i dont know nothing about this stuff tbh.
 
Paint would leave a cleaner finish, but the vinyl has the advantage of being cheap, easy to apply and easily removable if you hate it :p
 
i dont think its lacqured as its very matte finish. with no shine to it at all unlike the pc i have ;acqured (done myself)

cheers Raikiri, my Uncle runs a body shop and has been doing car spraying for good 40 years so i guess i could ask him. thought it might have to done differently to cars but i guess its just metal at the end of the day.

now i just need to get a silhouette. done whats the best way to do this in photoshop?
and how would you suggest i print it? should i just have the image i want in black so it can be cut out?.
 
You might want to take the image to a printers, they should be able to do it in larger sizes and on a higher quality/sticky backed card or paper.

I'm happy to have a go at designing the stencil for you.
 
Have one at 4x the res if you need it.

measured up i need it 52cm x 45cm so A3/A2 i think A2 would be better

talking with a printers at the moment
