Hi, I'm wanting to play a few MMORPG's but I cant seem to find trial accounts for them, I wondered if you could help:

Final Fantasy XI
City of Heroes (or Villans)
Guild Wars

I doubt theirs a trial of guild wars as it has no monthly subscription

If they have free trials im sure you can download them from the official sites. Otherwise your'll probably have to buy them (or borrow a mates CD's

)

If you have even the most miniscule of interest in Guild Wars, you might as well buy it since it has no subscription fee, it's pretty good but it lacks much end game content

I downloaded City of Villans from fileplanet and its corrupt, it extracts and installs but then when it gets to cd 4 it says insert cd4 and cd4 didnt extract because it said it was corrupt.

Anywhere else I can get it?

for guild wars i think radeon have a free trial, you sig up on their website with a product number and your sorted

I got a CD for it with my X800 GTO², never used it since I already had the game. Didn't get one with my X1800XT.

the ati offer has finished now.
they do have open weekends for new players to demo the game, but nothing right now, and you need a friend with an account to offer this to you btw.

OT, but what end game stuff are you on about GW missing phalanx? as compared to WoW im guessing? ive not played wow and im not too far in GW but GW so far has been amazing to play.

Downloaded COV from all the fileplanet servers and all was corrupt for me if i tried to extract the zip. Was fine installing from setup within the zip though.

I heard Eurogamer had a trial of City of Heroes/Villains.

Try there. (can't check right now - its blocked at work).
