a Dell Ultrasharp in action. I really want one of these monitors, they look amazing and the high res draws me in.

However I don't want to splash £450 on a monitor based on other peoples views. I'd like to go and see it in action for myself.

Is there any shops that would have it on display?

The de-facto display here at the office. Everyone is on a Dell IPS of some kind. Same where I used to work before.

Would be hard to find, as most high street retailers tend to stock cheaper screens, but you might get lucky at your local ** No Mentioning of Competitors - Please read Rules and FAQs **Or come by a shop assistant using a Dell IPS panel I have a 2209WA 2407WFP, and a U2410 at work, all kinda similar.

Of course you could order one, have a play over a few days, and return it under distance selling act if not satisfied.

I suppose I could... bit of a faff posting back a heavy monitor though. Like you said, the local retailers only do cheapy tn panels.
