Raven cafe down the A49! A brillants Sprint again!

So happy with my bike now as I've sorted the brakes out, I just want more power! Think there will be much power difference from a sv650 to sv1000?

Just move the twisty bit on the right more, I find that helps.

And yes, quite a big difference in power :D
70 -> 116hp
62 -> 102nm

If I did that, I'm sure I would snap the throttle tube :p Plus, normally get 120ish miles till fuel light comes on, came on at 85 haha!!

Looking at figures, very much an upgrade!

I'll look next year, as it would be a cheap upgrade (£1.5k).

In the corners, I'm up there with the big boys, just the straights they get going.

do you tuck down behind the screen? you'll gain a good 10-20mph plus faster acceleration

Acceleration has very little to do with aerodynamics and almost everything to do with power:weight ratio.

It's why the Street Triple accelerates quicker than the Daytona despite having the same engine as it's not as fat.

If you want better acceleration you want to lose some blubber :p

At lower speeds (sub 60ish~MPH) less weight would be more important.

At higher speeds (over 60ish~MPH) better areo (tucking behind screen) would be better.

Or at least that is how I'd read it ;)
