where do i find correct reading?

i'm running a DS3P mobo and can't seem to program to report fan speeds and temps correctly...

speedfan seems about right with temps but reports my fan speeds in the millions of revs per minute

motherboard monitor was my next choice although i prefer the simplicity of speedfan, but there is no listing of my motherboard so didn't seem like a good way to go...

was is my best monitoring app gonna be chaps?

Intel TAT or Coretemp, if your on XP, if your on Vista use speed fan or core temp
