Where do I find my product key?

I have created my media for Windows 10 but I don't know what my product keys are for my:

- Asus T100
- Surface Pro 3

Where can I find the product keys, they aren't on the physical devices anywhere that I can see.

On the surface it's stored in the BIOS so it'll be picked up automatically not sure about the Asus you can also download programs to extract the win 8 key from the BIOS if you want a copy of it.

i use this to get product keys from installations. don't know if its of any help

you dont need them, from your current working OS lets say win 7 run the windows 10 update tool and tell it to update that device. blah blah blah welcome to windows 10, check in the settings/update and security/activation. it should say activated at this point you can flatten and install win 10 from scratch and just click skip when prompted for a key and windows will activate its self as it has already saved your hardware ID's. change mobo you lose your win 10 licence :<

ps make sure you update from win 7/8 rather than fresh install first as thats how you get your win 10 licence.

Haha made the mistake and did a fresh install and can't activate... going to have to restore now.
