where do i find otheros.self? (linux on ps3)

i think that when you go to 'install other OS' on the PS3, it asks for a flash drive and it copies it onto that itself. Though i could be wrong it was 5 months ago i done it.

ok I'll give this a try. the documentation floating about suggests you have to get this file from the Sony site, it's as though the file has been taken down.

On the latest version of YDL 5.01 the boot loader is on the disc image you dont need a flash drive with Kboot on anymore. Makes it so much easier :)

Yes I figured it must be doing something like this as just putting the ISO in and going to the install-other-os option started the ball rolling.

Got it all installed, main problem is WPA isn't supported on wireless, only WEP. Do I really want to downgrade my security for the sake of this setup? Might grab some wires soon.
