Hey, I ordered a POV GTX570 Beast from a company that ironically sounds alittle like ****, I ordered on Wednesday and when I ordered the card in the picture had a prefitted aquagraphx waterblock and in the description it said "Cooling: Watercooling", So I thought smashing I'll have a watercooled graphics card and my warranty.

Today I took delivery of my GTX570 but was horrified to see a GTX570 with no waterblock (reference design cooler).

I go to there website and now the picture is gone and under cooling it now says "Fan"

WTF... This is BS to the max!

So what can I do about it?

BTW I've called **** and they said they would E-mail me when they've had a chat with the manager.

Happy new year

Start a thread on the h.e.x.u.s forum to sort it out faster as it look`s bad for them in public.

Thanks for your help guys, I'll post at H_2The_exus...

I hate sending stuff back, Means I'll have to wait for a refund before buying something else and I'll be without a working PC for awhile.

Product not fit for purpose/not as advertised send them an e-mail(so as proof of contact) advising them it's ready to collect and don't pay postage no matter what!(harder to get this back if you do).If they don't respond (or not in a reasonable time)then go to your credit card explain and get a 'chargeback',then inform them that you've done this and repeat that the item is available for collection or if they want to send you a prepaid label, hey that's fine also!.Stand firm and don't accept anything below full refund and them arranging collection/return.Keep ALL correspondence and ask for names.Good luck.:)

Sound like you are getting a bit worked up over a simple mistake to me to be honest. It happens, and it happens with all companies.

Good luck getting it sorted quickly though and hope you do get the watercooling version as expected :-)

Wrong product or not customers are entitled to a refund of postage costs under DSR, or thats what I heard on a report on the BBC a couple of days ago.

Only 1 way though. You are entitled to a full refund of what you paid. They cannot charge a restocking fee, they cannot charge postage or processing charges. You must pay the postage to return it.

Yeah, its because I am worked up TBH, I can't really help that and sorry If I've come across as aggressive, I'm not an angry person, but this type of thing does push my buttons

Anyways Scan have agreed to arrange pick up and a full refund. They said that it was a mistake on the website and the price I paid for the card was for the Beast edition without a waterblock (false advertisement) So it looks like I'll be gettings a full refund but have to wait 7 days for it to go through the RMA proceedure (even though its not faulty)

Tempted to keep the prince of persia d/l code lol

I really wanted to have a watercooled GTX570, I thought the price was to good to be true .

I understand your frustration, always annoying to not get what you expected.

7 days through RMA procedure. It's not RMA, did they explicitely state RMA?

Seems odd to hold your money that long?

Keeping the D/L code: That would be theft :-(
