Originally bought a U2311H from ocuk the other week, however it had tinting issues (bearable, but it was there if you looked for it). I asked for an exchange, but it would mean sending it back at my own expense initially until it was proven faulty and was advised to use Dell's next day swap out service. I received the replacement last Tuesday and it was great, but now I have a dead/dark pixel in the lower right side of the screen, two thirds of the way across from the left.
The question is: am I only under Dell's warranty now? as I used their swap out service and no longer have the one ocuk sent to me and also would Dell honor another swap-out for one dead/dark pixel as I've only had the replacement for less than 5 days?
Also, as it was bought from ocuk the warranty started in June so if Dell do have a zero dead pixel policy I believe I'm outside of that now? I know it's usually like 30 days. I'm now on their premium panel guarantee, which is fine, if it's only one bright pixel.
