Where do you get your photos printed

Inb4 an entire thread of DSCL recommendations.

But yeah, DSCL. Loxley when I'm feeling particularly fancy (fine art and aluminium prints)
 
Can anybody tell me, if you order a 15" x 10" print and then add a border, is the entire picture still 15" x 10" with the border included? Or is the picture still 15" x 10" and the border is added to that ?
 
On DSCL? The border is included in the 15*10 basically it's just whether you want to fill the page or not for whatever reason. So the paper is the same size it's just the image that's smaller.
 
I print my own, if you're local to Nottingham I can do large format prints onto satin and gloss for a reasonable price to collect, from approx £5 per A2.
 
Having read this thread a while back I have just received my first set of prints from DSCL.

I turned to online photo processors as Boots don't offer 9X6 or 12x8 prints and the local camera shops manages to get a yellow tint to everything I take in.

I am impressed, very good quality, no visible banding on areas of bokeh which unfortunately a local online photo processor managed to produce.

It was a bit of a faff trying to calibrate my monitor but the profiles they supply pretty much match the prints I got back, so I must have got it close.

Oh, and they are pretty quick too.
