Where do you get your 'style'?

Jeans and a shirt or t-shirt coupled with smart trainers but never the nike or adidas variety. When it comes to dossing about the house its almost always a polo shirt and shorts (ain't central heating nice!) ;)

Band tees and jeans or camo shorts.
So what's that?
Just a style that says 'i cant be arsed' ?

Im happy knowing my clothes are based on trends/social groups as end of the day we are all gone look back and say why did i wear that...

I normally wear band tee's and polos for more casual days and when I need to be smarter I like to rock the old jumpers and shirt combos etc (am quite liking the colour pink at the minute as well).

and I basically only wear jeans with either skate shoes or smart shoes...

I wear anything I have tbh. :p

I'm not fashion conscious at all. I wear clothes that I like (sometimes) but never let anyone else's opinion influence it.

Yesterday I wore dark grey/black jeans, a purple tshirt with something on the front and a 'Dalin' hat. :D

If i were to label myself I would say verging on skater, if only for the fact I have a chain on my jeans that i keep my keys on... (edit- oh, and I wear Vans)

I generally just wear whatever I like the look of in a shop, as long as it doesn't make me look stupid :p

I have a general couldn't care less style, which, my therapist told me "Is a need a rebel against others".

Bloody expensive to see her too, but she still don't understand; I just don't care!!

Still it doesn't work in my favour when going to nice places to eat, or the Porsche garage, or the estate agents.

Meh.

ive been called a chav, emo and skater boi.

not really 3 styles that go together lol... i love my hoodies, wear jeans and t-shirts but generally go for darker clothes.

saying that though i bought a few sets of cufflinks recently and i wear shirts with them now so i look super smart when out.

Just what I like wearing. I am neither a chav, an emo or a proto-goth. Just wear nice jeans, trainers and top.

Goth :p.

Skate shoes, smallish T-shirt (hate baggy t-shirts) and relaxed fit diesel jeans for day-to-day wear.
Evening out can be anything from smart casual with blazer to very funky (kinda hard to describe my definition of funky, but odd combinations that seems to look good on me)

edit: just realised I didn't answer the question
I grew up in a small town, where pretty much everyone surfs/makes money off the industry + major surf labels have their HQ's there, so I guess that influenced me a lot, plus the fact that I do surf... so you kinda copy your Idols growing up i guess

My Mother :D i've never bought an item of clothing in my life. Probably not something i want to admit but i get a lot of comments about my 'style' i claim credit for it of course :D

At the moment I'm waiting for the new styles to come in, I've got enough to last me the rest of the winter. My wardrobe consists of straight cut jeans with subtle fades, a mix of stripy long sleeve and short sleeve tops with a couple of plain black and white t-shirts. Shoes at the moment are black suede converse. I like to keep a mix of casual and smart casual tops, when I wear casual I'll wear a hoodie and maybe a thin jacket, when I wear smart casual i'll wear a brown cord blazer.

I think things fitting well and looking good and being within your budget should all go without saying.

I'm influenced by what I see everywhere - on other people, in magazines etc. Not afraid to admit it and i'm quite happy to go along with some new trends as well just to freshen myself up a bit if i've gotten too comfy wearing the same clothes too long.

I think about what looks good on me as well though, I like a lot of shirts with vertical stripes for instance but don't wear them as i'm skinny and they only make me look skinnier.

Also have my own ideas about what I like - I never got into that fashion of ripped clothes, the worn look, things with the stitching on the outside or patches or stuff like that I don't like. I prefer plainer stuff with good clean cuts.

The only time i get clothes is when they are bought for me at xmas or birthdays or from car boots just have no interest, the last thing i bought was a "proper" fishermans jumper from a sale in St agnes but my general look even though im in my 40,s is surfer i suppose(or maybe i just look scruffy -who cares) and i always wear shorts in summer whatever the weather
