where do you go for cheap flights?

Always find myself digging around for ages, and wondered if anyone on here has found a gem of a web site, not come across anything that allows variables, as i travel a bit socially and don't mind taking late flights or being flexible if it saves a few bob, do share any goodins you have found

I've used Flybe once and Ryanair once. Both flights were fine for me although I heard that it can be a headache when things go wrong with budget airlines.

Or usually I use a combination of SkyScanner and the airlines official website since sometimes you can get a good deal direct from the airline.

I wish there was a site which I could say, I want to go to X for Y weeks. Get me the cheapest flight whenever you can.

yeah that is what im looking for! - you can do it for insurance and currency but no real compare the market for flights, as i don't mind travelling to an airport if it saves me £100 on a flight,

Ugh well I find Bristol is airport is good, you can usually get through the wires at about 10pm, usually I try and go for the front wheel as it's a bit warmer than the back wheels especially at 30,000 Ft.
Also I would suggest wrapping up and get some ear muffs and if you can afford it I would suggest a parachute, not really gonna help that much if you fall out over the sea mind.

Seriously though also worth checking ba.com as do get some good deals especially when sales are on and often not much more than the low cost carriers..

Skyscanner is garbage these days.

Just use travel supermarket, they scan far more than any other company i can think of.

They used to be very good (when I did all the updating on there!) but I haven't tried them recently!

its a long story, but basically cant fly in June to America with friend, and cant change the name on the ticket or get a refund/airmiles and cant move the dates to next summer,

i understand there policy's but no one seems to be able to help me there! eeek
