where does itunes keep dlded. files?

i am on windows 7 x64 where would itunes keep movie files i downloaded , can i access them with out itunes?

Mine are in directories under...

C:\Users\<username>\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media

I could play my DRMd Lost TV episodes directly in QuickTime... I guess nothing other than iTunes or QuickTime can decrypt the Apple DRM.

for DRM'd files you will need to authorize your PC in iTunes first, not sure if you can do it in Quicktime? both iTunes and Quicktime will play them (iTunes uses Quicktime to play them anyway).

Also be aware that you only get 5 authorizations and if you format your PC without de-authorizing it first you loose that authorization.

If you reach your maximum of 5 authorisations, you can reset it anyway, so don't worry too much about that (unless you sell a PC without wiping the drive).
