Where does the sound card go?

Hey all,

I have some aegos on order and am thinking of getting an XFI soundcard - question is does it go into a soundcard slot or pci. I ask as I dont think my motherboard (abit av8) has a soundcard slot...

It goes into a normal PCI slot.

no such thing as a "sound card slot", just bung it in any regular PCI slot and you should be fine
