Where have all the Toxic's gone?

I'm currently running an R9 280x Toxic.
Planning on adding another for crossfire, but these cards seem to have vanished from most UK sellers.

What happened?

Any recommendations as to which other 280x is best suited to pair with my Toxic?

I thought that they were a replacement for the standard 280 series.

Its the whole range (280+280X) which are Tahiti or something like that that are being replaced by this new Tonga chip.

And with prices of r9 290 doing £220 approximately is there room for a 280X anymore.

Well, I guess I will have to try and find a decent 2nd hand Toxic.
Not really worth me upgrading to a 290x at this point (only had the toxic for 6 months).

Maybe AMD should dump the 290 now and put some properly binned 4GB full fat Tonga cards on the shelves.
