Where have the Ripjaws gone?

Just browsing the memory section I notice overclockers have removed the stock listing for a but the highest spec ripjaw.

Where have the G.Skill Ripjaw 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz gone?

Ram is in short supply everywhere currently, not just specific to the Ripjaw.

sorry but 1 set of c8 is still sitting in it's box next to me with no m/b to put them in as i awaiting stock of my m/b to come in and i had to beat the vat deadline!

On a serious note its looking less likely now that I can upgrade with a matching pair of G-Skill to take me from 4 to 8 gig, would putting a seperate matched pair, most likely from a different maker, affect the system, provided obviously it was DDR3 capable of 1600mhz?
