While looking for a ATX case the other day for a modding project i noticed just how little there are of them. especially if you on a budget or...dont want rgb or glass windows. literally every case now has glass windows and big rbg fans.

these kinda straight forward cases were common now they literally extinct unless you paying £200.

while the cases are straight forward with no rgb they are midi cases not atx. some people just want a straight no thrills no rgb atx case with options to remove hd cages and dvd drives. the funny thing is people who make cases charge more to add less.

cases where you basically can have a easier to make case with less in costs huge numbers yet they should be cheaper.

What's an 'ATX' case in your mind that makes a 'midi' case not ATX?

Almost all cases are ATX of some sort. If you walked into a PC shop and asked for an ATX case one of the first things you'd be asked is what size you want (full-tower, midi, micro, etc.).

Whats the use case for such a large enclosure that isn't being used to show off components or illuminate rooms with rgb?

I prefer SFF, but it's 3rd to mATX and then ATX in that order. ATX fabricators have their market pretty well sussed.
