I have just updated my PS3 and now BBCi and rest of the streaming channels have vanished?

Am i missing something or as PS3 took them out? Proper **** if so as i use the PS3 50% of the time for the BBCi player and other 50% for COD......

Well i have clicked everything and cannot find it.

Sony certainly don't do them self any favours do they....

Click on the new TV tab and download it through there. No idea why they've done this, the iPlayer used to be easy to use and now it's just ****.

Yeah liking the HD option, but why oh why havent they implemented a proper way to quit the app :p

Jeez why do people moan so much lately - cant you go out and pilfer ;):p - just like the last firmware updates it takes a bit of time for the PS3 to localise and pick up what regional streaming applications are available so just give it a bit of time. AFAIK its a bug thats never been fixed and I dont think theres a single tried and tested solution (some say to delete non-UK PSN accounts, others say switch off the PS3 for a few hours etc)...

ps3ud0

any ideas where the tv tab has gone, cant find it anywhere?

its always one step forward and two back with sony. :(

You have to reboot to get the TV/video services icon back and running any PSN related item (like going into the store) will then make the channels item appear.

Ran it last night, and I am very happy with it. I prefer it to the older version, and I'm very happy with the quality of the HD content on it. There's still a load of bugs on it, and they could sort out a thing or two, but at least it's going in the right direction.

The good thing about it now is that it can do HD video. The Beeb can keep updating with the latest Flash version rather than rely on the **** version that is included in the **** web browser.

Noticed this earlier downloading the application separately, made the league cup highlights better to find.

Still can't get the clock to be on the right time, its always 15 mins fast

Can you watch "Live" Tv through iPlayer now (like on the iPlayer website) or is it just like before, catch-up only?

Do you mean the fact the clock "speeds" up every few months. A quick resync with the Internet through time settings fixes it, but it does annoy me that it has been like this for as long as I can remember!! Surely a simple thing to fix.

It's a dedicated app so it's far better. Also means that it works properly (well, mostly) with the Bluetooth remote, whereas the website was a complete hassle.
Now that it can do HD I may end up using this more than the iPlayer app on my TV.

Disappointed that 4OD still uses the website though.

Still catch-up only.

Yeah thats the time thing! Every time it syncs it doesn't last more than a few days for me :(

My iPlayer app disappeared too, as well as ITV and 4OD but LoveFilm stayed there.

Watched a DVD and returned to XMB menu and now there is no TV menu at all. Going to the Playstation Store tells me that the Playstation Network is under going maintenance yet their website says its OK.
