where is gibbo ?

Hi there

Don't worry guys I am fine, no sex change here as I am happy with my sexuality. :D

Anyway I can't say hardly anything in regard to 3870 X2 apart from having a working sample.

When I can let you know more I will guys, but until then I am keeping quiet or AMD/ATI will give me a good spanking and believe you me its not a pleasant experience as I've broken the rules a few too many times before.

You would love a good spanking from Intel and AMD, admit it! ;)

It'll end up been 2ft long that X2 it'll look like a suspension bridge.

Actually it's about the same length as the Ultra... But that's not a problem when you have a Lian Li chassis with a spare removable hard drive cage where the card would end up going now is it? ;P

To be honest though, I dunno which i'd prefer - 2 chips on 1 PCB or 1 chip on 2 PCBs. :)

1 chip on 2 PCBs? How would that work ? :p 2 chips on one PCB that dont use crossfire or SLi would be awsome.

I would think 2 chips on 1 pcb would be easier to cool

Not really since they both putting out heat that one cooler has to cool, sure it might be quieter.

Yes but you not got 2 pcb sandwiched together i would think the air flow would be better

Well yea but its still twice the heat output on one PCB with one cooler.
