As you can see I have a connection but oddly I cannot Google. I get "This page cannot be displayed. Both my PC's are affected as is my tablet. My home pages of Bit-Tech forums, Facebook and Overclockers all appear but my two Google UK Tabs have the error message. All I have done so far is switched off the router for a while and then back on.
I mainly use IE 11 but Chrome is also affected with a bit more info with this extra clue "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN" Would be grateful for thoughts or suggestions as I cannot Google for the answer.

Are you using your ISPs DNS servers? If so, try changing the settings on your router to use something else, 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for instance.

Thanks mate.
Switched DNS servers to Google 8.8.8.8./8.8.4.4 and all is well. Discovered that Dolphin browser on my tablet worked so managed to get info that way.

Are you by any chance on plusnet as they had a major routing issue where some sites (like google UK) wouldn't load and some would.

It has been fixed and everything is working now, but unfortunately changing DNS settings wouldn't have been an effective fix since the issue wasn't with the DNS servers.
