Make sure you have clicked on the uhd version of The Grand Tour, I watched the standard hd version for the first couple of episodes. It's worth mentioning that it also takes about 20 seconds or so to raise the resolution up to 4k after the stream starts.

You just play Amazon in 4k.

I couldn't see the option?

I wasn't aware I had to pick 4K?

I would have thought it would just check Bandwidth and automate the process...

is there a 4k section I have missed?

I went to the FIre settings and saw that the resolution was set to auto/4k

You have to click on the uhd version

From memory you go to the Prime Video main menu then TV series and there's a 4K sub-menu with the 4K stuff. It should be there. Mine's there anyway without needing to mess about with settings although I play Prime through app on my TV.

on the Amazon app on my Panny, you just select the TV show then press up to go to the top menu then select 4K Ultra HD, and it will list quite a few.

EDIT: it seems the YouTube gods have heard your plea for help, thought it was already pretty straight forward :p

Is the FTV app different, seems an odd design choice

Just read your other post  was going to get a Samsung, but opted for a Panasonic, not as bright as the KS but superb pic all the same.

My UHD collection is slowly growing have 6 blurays

which Model?

50DX750B, got it from John Lewis who price matched me Richer Sounds who had no stock.

I have a 'collection' of about 200 3D film images so that put another tick it this sets column.

Stunning set design and has adjustable feet things that give you four options.

Also treated myself to a new Onkyo amp since current has no HDCP2.2 and a new Ikea Besta unit to house it all
