Where is my mac??!

ok i ordered a macbook form the apple students website back in september and it still hasnt arrived. was meant to come last thursday, and i havnt heard a thing. there has always been someone in the house just incase.

in the delivery page it just says "Merge in Transit GB" what does this mean?

it was dispatched on the 2nd of october so i cant see why it is taking so long

who do they deliver with? as i have no idea where i can phone to give off about me having to wait

I hate to state the obvious, but just ring Apple, 0845 600 1683 for sales support and get them to do the leg work.
 
It's either TNT or UPS.

Use your 80***** number in the "Track" page of either of these two couriers and you'll get a nice update to what's happening.
 
ok so i rang up apple and the guy told me something like it hadnt reached the hub and the courier hadnt updated the status of it. cant find it on the tnt ups or that apecode website :rolleyes:

would they have put leapord on it and told them not to deliver it until its released or something?

this is annoying, i want my mac now :( (yes im very impatient, i know)

You're not impatient, we all can't wait to get our shiny Macs :p

It does take time when Apple ships stuff as it comes from China most of the time, they wont install Leopard on it though and wait to deliver it though. I think your just one of those people that have to wait longer than expected.

Apecode usually works, does it not say anything at all when you put in your 80XXX number?
 
just a wee update, and im not happy :mad:

my order got lost in the post.

now it wont be arriving until the 6/7th of november :mad:

plus side it will have leopard, but im pretty annoyed right now :(

Edit: Apple really has to get its act together for this postage, esp when people are paying £1.5k+ for these things. Hell I'd pay £20 for it to get speedy delivery!

My Custom Made PowerMac G4 came in less than 5 days (ordered sat evening had it thurs morning)


My MBP is somewhere as well :(

Im gonna phone on friday to see where it is.

1st Nov currently as del date. I need to know when so I can have someone stay in :eek:

Make sure someone is in, they wont leave it with neighbours. When I got my MBP the box was ticked saying not to deliver to neighbours etc.

Aye, thursday is a nice day actually as im in from school for 4 of the 6 hours im supposed to be there for :p

Rather have it 30th/31st tho but hey ho.

How difficult is it to get a container on a 777 from Shanghai to LHR, then merge with whoever for my Airport Extreme within a week :rolleyes:

Annoyances!!! :(:(
