Regarding Battle For Middle Earth, EA tend to save stuff in the My Docs folder under a folder with the same name as the game.

LOL - No wonder you couldn't find them - OMG

  1. Double click on My Computer
  2. Double click on the C Drive
  3. Double click on the Documents and Settings folder
  4. Double click on the folder with your Username
    • If you do not have or know your username you may want to try the Owner or Administrator folder
  5. Double click on the Application Data folder
    • If you do not see Application Data simply do the following:
      1. Click on Tools from the menu at the top of the screen
      2. Choose Folder Options from the drop down menu
      3. Choose the View tab
      4. Click on the Show hidden files and folders radio button under Advanced settings
      5. Click on Apply and then OK
    • The Application Data folder should now be visible
  6. Double Click on My Battle for Middle-earth Files
Please note that there is only one AUTOSAVE file for Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth. If you start either campaign, and then switch to the other campaign, your AUTOSAVE file from the previous campaign will get overwritten.
