Where is setting to keep WiFi on during sleep

Hi sorry someone has run out of their monthly data and now they can not receive WhatsApp unless phone is awake because IPhone is disconnecting from WiFi when in sleep.

Can someone please tell me the menu options to find the option to keep WiFi on during sleep. Thanks so much.

This normally happens to save battery, no data and just WiFi, the WiFi will switch off if the phone isn't being charged.

I'm not sure there is a setting for it.

Hi sorry anyone know which menu selections you need to get to the mobile data options. Bit difficult trying to help someone while I don't have an iPhone myself. Hope you understand.

Anyone here have an iPhone and can tell me for sure?

Wifi should stay bonded when asleep, how else would an idevice get push notifications?
Either the signal is marginal or there is an issue that needs fixing.
Make sure Auto-join is on in case it disconnects momentarily.
Reset Network settings.
