Where is STEAM headed?

I personally hate Steam, I'd never buy games over it unless it was the only place to get a certain title, only reason I have it is CS:S :(
 
i've liked steam ever since it came out , though when HL2 came out i bought it on DVD , but then hated the idea having to use the DVD all the time, so bought all HL2 again on another account and not looked back since! Also its been evil and making me spend money. .. BioShock for instance £7more than id buy from the shops or another online shop
 
Why did you need to buy hl2 on another account? You could have just used the first copy without the disk anyway.
 
just wanted everything on steam with no CD's

:D my bro uses the old account anyway so didn't really loose anything
 
I love Steam but i know the minute that Steam has an outage lasting more then a few days, or i for some reason lose my internet (changing dsl providers is fun) im gonna change my mind.

The content on it now is pretty mindblowing... but its still one big giant point of failure.
