Hi all, Merry Christmas
My very good friends son has an idea for a game, he is only young and asking me for advice and i feel a little helpless in this field.
My question is... Is there a reputable website that will listen to his idea for his game?
I tried to explain to him that my programming knowledge of computers only goes as far as web design, CSS, javascript and a little databasing.
He does not understand (yet) the difference with the above and the likes of C++ and Java, but i do not want to discourage his ambition to work in the field of computers. He is a couple of years young of his 16th Birthday (so college and further education is not available to him yet) and showing a great knowledge of computers.
If anyone knows of any links or advice that i can tell him then please post here.
Many thanks in advance.

) then modding might be a good way to go. UnrealScript is relatively easy and you can make some quite big changes without too much coding, although for a 14 year old it might be a bit tricky. Easier with some past experiences of classes / objects etc. In terms of coding HL2 / Source is much harder to mod as it's all C++. Half the battle is setting up the development environment.
