Where is the FSX root directory?

I'm trying tto instal the"grob tutor" addon pack and I've got to place file in the above destination, trouble is I can't seem to find it, probably under another name, can anyone here point me to it?

The Root directory is the main "Microsoft Flight Simulator X" folder...

Are you asking where FSX is installed on your system ???
Default install is normally at C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X

Cheers for that mate, I'll give that location a go. I assumed they meant a specific file in the main root directory like a lot of these aftermarket addons have to be put/installed. I suppose the new file will be automatically installed in the correct sub file/folder, whereas I just point it to the main game folder/destination (I hope)
