saw this trailer the othe day and recognise the music, think it's from the matrix or something ?? Any ideas where I might have heard it ??

yup, the ending sequences in Requiem for a Dream, its also used in The Two Towers trailer as well.

According to wikipedia, the piece is called Lux Aeterna, written by Clint Mansell and performed by Kronos Quartet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lux_Aeterna_(disambiguation)), and it's been used in Requiem for a Dream, and more recently adverts for last summer's golf coverage and a program called half ton hospital.

The Requiem For a Dream soundtrack gets raped by TV adverts.

Was very suprised to see a Clint Mansell track used on this Sunshine trailer, seems a bit cheap using a highly recognisable version of a track from a film that is only about 5 years old!
