Where shouldn't you use Silver?

Where are the correct places to use arctic silver and arctic ceramic??

I read that you should not use silver on ram chips of a GPU due to electrical conductivity, is there any where else you should use ceramic instead of silver?


Components that need paste - cpu/northbridge/ram/gpu core/gpu ram ??

Do not use silver on chips that have visible pins connecting the chip to the PCB like older style memorychips, with BGA memorychips it is fine to use silver paste, just don't use way too much that it spreads all over the pcb underneath it.
