Just recieved a second 770 to SLI and after checking both boxes I couldn't find a bridge, then check my mobo box AND my old mobo box and none to be seen?

Do I have to buy a bridge separately?

SLI bridges normally come with the motherboard.

This nearly caught me out, I just got a 760 from OCUK the other day and was ready to fire off a web note asking where the SLi connector was, but on the Nvidia site it clearly says the connectors come with Sli capable motherboards and not with the GPU's (unless the particular maker decides to include one I suppose, which MSi obviously don't)

SLI either used a hardware based NF200 Chip in PCI-E 2.0 days or a software license, you could hack it to work and I assume still can.

I tried it on a Asus Maximus II Formula with 2x GTX 260 (216) and back then you could do SLI without a bridge at a slight perforate drop (SLI Bridge is basically a Direct PCI-E 1.0 connection to save Mobo Bandwidth).

I did not buy a Bridge and I did not run it long as only messing.

I am told now it does not work without bridge so assume its down to drivers.
