Where to acquire a GTX 1080 for my Clevo lappy?

As per the title, does anyone know where I can acquire a GTX 1080 for a Clevo laptop that is currently running a GTX 980? I would hope that anyone on here can point me in the right direction. My laptop model is Clevo P7xxDM-G. Thanks!

I hate to break this to you but I don't think the change from a 980 to a 1080 is possible.

I believe on the clevo models there are upgrades

Only option I can find for a Clevo P7xxDM-G is for a 970 or 980.

Unfortunately you cannot fit it in that chassis. The GTX1080 format is a lot bigger and requires slightly better cooler. As that chassis uses a single heatsink for CPU@GPU it may struggle with thermals if it will fit and play.

You could try Eurocom in Canada but I am pretty certain they don't offer those cards as an upgrade on your model.

It is, don't get me wrong. I think I will just get a new one when the time comes. It seems less hassle. I spoke to pc specialists who built it for me and said they "don't have the tools to upgrade the laptops" that they build and sell which I think is bs. More like they don't want people to just upgrade components when they can buy a whole laptop instead...

Maybe, but I bought from them (P771ZM, 980m) and mooching around their forums seems to indicate that they dont have an issue with customers opening their laptops to upgrade or repaste etc.. Which could be a large warranty issue if bought from elsewhere. One of the reasons I bought from them.

On a side note, I really think OCUK are missing a trick here. They are in a fantastic position with the size of their customer base to offer custom built and upgradeable laptops just like and possibly even better than what pcs supply...??
