Where to buy a bath.

I got mine from the bath store.

what type of material bath did you want? I went for thermofoam
have a look online before you buy on the differences on material.

With something like this I would suggest going into a few stores and looking at the sizes/materials so that you get a better idea of what fits your requirements. I went to the bath store and set in the bath for a few minutes and lied down. lol

Bought mine from Victoria plumb.

First one arrived looking like it had been attacked with a sledgehammer!

Phoned to complain, they organised sending me a new one. Cheeky gits wanted me to dispose of the smashed one! Told them where to go.

Now it's sorted, the bath itself is decent enough quality for what was paid. Side panel a bit flimsy though.

Just want something that feels solid. That thermoform sounds okay but they don't do an L shaped bath.

Got my eye on this one now, Carron seem to get good reviews.

Victoria plumb well recommended, Bought all my bits for my bathroom from there, Even the small issue I had they sent new stuff next day, Great service

I got mine from Victoria plum, but questionable customer service. I got a bath from them, very nice but the side bar handles were faulty but they arranged to send a new pack the next day which they did so not bad however I spent £50 on the side panel and it was so flimsy and weak just a thin piece of plastic (1mm) and it was the part recommended by them for a £150+ bath.

Maybe no one at Victoria plum notice such poor quality side panel products for their bathes, I made a complaint the next day and asked for a refund since the side panel looked like it cost £5 to produce yet cost £50, they refused it since it was already opened and used.

I was going to leave a negative review but then noticed they review all comments for admin 'purposes' I doubt my review would show up since only positive reviews are all I see.

Went to b&q and bought an proper side panel for £30 which was not 1mm but at least 10mm thick, also if you are use to Steel bath tubs stick to steel we got
acrylic its ok but steel was smoother and less likely to scratch and dent imo.

Ivan above had the same issue I had. I would advise if you are buying a bathtub try local bathroom & kitchen places, hopefully ones with demo units buying stuff blind online can turn out a nightmare, my toilet I also got from VP is clearly not a £150 class toilet either looks like it cost £60 to produce.

Going to go with the Carron looks just what I want, as solid as a cast iron bath.
The flimsy baths at only a max of around 6mm or new right off, the Carron is many times thicker, have a better panel as well.
