Does anyone know where I can buy standard laboratory filter paper? All the places I can find try to rape me with £15 postage or something ridiculous for some paper weighing 50g.

The nhs is so poor at mental health, they will me pescribe anything apart from one of the drug classes that actually work for my condition, eg, opiates, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, amphetamines, they keep trying to flog me prozac. So I had to resort to illegally self medicating.

What you cooking? ;)

How do you order anything on the website? Can't find an add to basket button anywhere.

Ooh er, have you tried amazon?

Nothing there.

Staples should have it

They don't.

Be careful when ordering anything even slightly "sciency". It means you're a terrorist.

Yeah I'm expecting to be raided for ordering some glassware earlier this week. :p

you don't - you have to ask Aldrich for an account - i doubt they sell to private individuals.

i still think your best bet is a brewing shop. Or you could try using white cotton fabric to filter through - it makes no difference to paper.

They seem to have a convoluted way of doing things, any idiot could add a boolean value to each item which indicates whether there are any sale restrictions, instead they chose to lose revenue by not selling to private individuals.

Don't know of any brewing shops. Advantage of using paper though is that it's more suited to use in a funnel and comes in many different grades which is useful for filtering different solutions.

Looks like I'm going to have ask my uni or buy enough to make the £16 delivery worthwhile, or god forbid go to ebay!

EDIT - This thread is now the 3rd result on google for filter paper. :p
