Oculus' official Link Headset Cable is available in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Taiwan for $79.99 via the Oculus Store.

Does anyone know where it can be purchased in the UK?

I ended up buying that but the cable is so thick/stuff, and definitely not long enough for standing play.

Plus, my case is on the floor to the right of my desk and the USB-C port on the headset it on the left side; combined with the cable being so stiff, the whole thing is an annoyance.

I'll have to find a way to get the case moved to the left of my desk, along with buying a 2-meter or so active USB 3.0 extension cable.

I know I can stream SteamVR content to it wirelessly but I don't want to go that route.

Thank you for your help, everyone :)

Hi King Mustard - you should be able to go longer with the active extension - I have a 5m active cable and the 3m Amazon Basics, works perfectly and with a total of 8m plenty of freedom.

Give it a try though the new VD version is great being able to see all your Steam and Oculus games from within the Quest so you dont need to take it off.

In addition to the 3-meter Anker PowerLine cable that I now have, I need to buy an active extender.

There appears to be hardly any 2-meter ones, so it looks like I'll have to get a 5-meter one.

Amazon UK seems to have four main options:
Several people seemed to have issues with the CSL cable and their Oculus hardware from three years back, so I'm tempted to avoid that.

Any thoughts on the other three?

It's a shame, though. Five meters of stiff cable is just a ball-ache. I might just try wireless for SteamVR titles and accept the latency.
