Is it really that complicated buying a console?? Hate to think what happens when you need a new toaster...

Personally I always check hotukdeals for good deals on goods. If you are OK with used items then vinted is fantastic as long as you stick to sellers with multiple good feedback.
Only buy the disk version - there are some amazing deals on used games you could literally make the extra money back in savings within a few game purchases.

i got mine in currys in Feb, slim version with disc drive although i have no need for the disk drive ( chose that one by mistake). I. bought it on buy now pay later and have until next Feb to pay for it. Although i may have sold it by then and got a ps5 pro by then!

I’ve been itching to move over to PlayStation to be able to play more Co-op Online Games with a few blokes from work.
However, I managed to get my Series X with Dying Light 2 for £333 and with the small amount of time I get to play I just cannot justify it paying £400+ for a Slim and having both.
With all the negativity around MS and Xbox these days, I may just wait it out until a PS5 Pro is released and jump ship then.
If I was to buy now, it would be a Diskless PS5 Slim.

Sell the series X get a digital slim? I think you should still get £300 for the series x. The slim is a great console just be careful of the glossy black plastic trim as in leave it don't even wipe it.
