Where to buy SC2?

In the Amazon one you can clearly see its says "signature series guide" and also states paperback in the title and strategy guide in the listing

The one at game athlon has the picture of the strategy guide but no mention of actually being a guide and also states system requirements. Sneaky - means they are 99% selling a guide and not the actual game

Yeh i know...

I have just been into town and went to a game store, I tried to pre-order but he said they have filled the quota for pre-orders. I asked if it was all game stores and he replied yes. I then walked 2 minutes up the road to a different store and tried to pre-order. She gave me a receipt and all was good.

Good company communication there!

Lol - if you pre-order from Game online don't they guarantee delivery on release day?

Plus if you're of a mind to both Amazon and play or selling the collectors' edition at £59.99.

I cant justify spending £25 on some artwork and a crappy usb pen drive thats probably 1gb. Maybe if you got a limited edition tshirt like here

http://www.jinx.com/starcraft/men/starcraft_ready_to_serve.html?catid=105&cs=2&csd=105

or a limited edition sentry plush (like the HL headcrab one) I would go for it. Just seems like a rip-off

I would rather game just text me a key so I can download the latest client and play. Do you have to install if off a dvd? - I dont even have a dvd drive and havent had one for months. Hopefully its client download with the retail key

Guest2 the game will be available on battle.net a few hours after the servers open. You can even download the client now.

I have been playing the beta.

The client from battle.net still downloads starcraft 2 Beta not the retail. I have seen the content available to download on torrents etc but wondered if you can download the retail client and enter your retail key

Yes I would guess so. When you buy battle.net games now lilke diablo, sc1 and warcraft you add the code to your account and then you can dl it as much as you want. I would assume they would do that with SC2.
