I would like to buy a home treadmill (up to £1200).

But I'd like to try it first to make sure that is is solid and doesnt change speed abruptly.

But the major consideration is that I want to buy it from somewhere which will collect it if there is a problem and it needs to go back for repair.

Any suggestions? :)

Get a used one. So many people but them and never use it

True!

We have a rebook one GT50, it gets used although the mrs has a legit region for not exerting her self at the moment!

One thing I would check is - are the program speeds relative to the set speed you're at? Ie if you start the program and the speed is too slow so you speed it up, when the next inclination/speed change occurs does it change in relation to your new faster speed or simply sets the speed to the speed of the set program.
I have long legs so some of the programs on the GT50 are more walking programs!

Surely there's tonnes on gumtree now with warranty haha. I bought mine 8 years ago proform 585v from fitness superstore, top service and has been replaced once under warranty.

Over a ten year period I bought two reconditioned ones from a company called Restyle Fitness who delivered both fully built and took my second one away when it developed a fault.
I hammered the first one doing 2 hours a day every day at one point.
Don't get swayed by different programs eg I could set up races and see me on the LED racing 4 other computer runners.
It was good when I first had it but you then just put it on a speed and run.
You can even get them where you have Google Street View on your screen so you can run anywhere - that might be interesting.
