Where to buy...?

Heya,

I'm after a couple of bits, but can find neither anywhere in the UK - Can anyone help?

PCI Brackets
Not just a standard expansion slot blanking plate, but the kind with right-angled tabs that have screw holes, usually used on expansion cards.
I need just the plate itself.
There's a couple of places that do them in America, but shipping is insane!

Corsair Carbide 500R side panel
Have asked Corsair about these, but their only response has been suggesting a list of UK shops that stock Corsair products in general, none of whom seem to offer side panels.

A quick google for PCI slot cover showed a bunch of ones with the right angle & screw hole for pretty cheap unless I've misunderstood what you're looking for?

Something like http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-178-SV but without the vents?

I'd say that was a standard planking plate though so I guess I need a picture to understand what you mean.

No idea about the side panel, sorry

How did you ask them ?

If direct then try going on their forums and asking there. The Corsair staff frequent them quite often and you never know they may send you one.

You used to be able to ask for PSU modular cables on the forums and they would send them free of charge. Not sure whether this still happens but worth a try with the panel!

I just had a look - I'd take it of there's no other option... but blimey, that shipping is insane - £17 on a £2 item!!

That's the problem with companies that deal with bulk buys.

Apart from the American companies, that's the only one I could find.
Could you not get an old cheap PCI card and remove the PCB. Some of those USB cards, the bracket looks similar, although they wont be blank.

ttaskmaster - check your trust mail there is a few places you can get them and not have to pay the silly shipping.

Well, solved the side panel issue - The 'add-to-cart' bit of the Corsair website wasn't showing up on the PC here at work!!

Purgey, thanks for that. Will consider. Looks likes it will fit, too!

That's the second option, so will be keeping an eye out for cheap old ones!
